Take US Highway 290/State Highway 6 to Hempstead.  Take the State Highway 6 exit and proceed to the stop sign intersection.  Turn left under the freeway BEING VERY CAREFUL as the cross-traffic does not stop.  Proceed South on Business Highway 6 approximately 1.2 miles to a red-light intersection at Austin Street.  Turn left and see the Courthouse on your left at 836 Austin Street.
