SCRAMx (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor)

Drunk driving in the United States, and in Texas in particular, creates devestatingly dangerous conditions on the highways and streets of our communities. Alcohol is the leading cause of death and injury in automobile accidents. The 506th Judicial District Court uses some of the latest and most effective technology in controlling repeat, drunk driving offenders. SCRAMx (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor) is one of those technology tools. If you or your client are charged with or convicted of a felony level drunk driving or alcohol related offense, you can expect the Court to use one or more of the technology tools available to it at the pretrial, conditional bond and post-conviction proceedings.
